
On Wednesday night (12/8/16), the Celtics beat the Magic 117-87. The Celtics were without their leading scorer, Isaiah Thomas, as he sat out with a groin injury that he suffered last game against Houston. Marcus Smart started in place of the injured Thomas, and Terry Rozier got extended minutes as well, while Jaylen Brown had one of his most impressive games of the season. Seven Celtics players scored in double figures and the Celtics played one of their most complete games of the season against Orlando. Isaiah Thomas is going to sit out on Friday against Toronto where the Celtics look to get a win over DeMar Derozan, the East's leading scorer, and the Toronto Raptors.
