Celtics Avenge Loss To Bulls 107-100, Crowder Goes Down

The Celtics felt like they should have beat the Bulls after a 105-99 loss to Chicago on October 27th. The Bulls shot the lights out on that night, and have continued that pace throughout the start of the season. The Celtics got their revenge last night (11/2/16) with a 107-100 win over the Bulls. Chicago came down to Earth last night, shooting 35% from beyond the arc, while Boston shot 43.8% from deep. Although the Celtics picked up the victory, and Amir Johnson looked like Ray Allen from deep (4-4 3PT), Jae Crowder went down with an ankle injury. Crowder landed on Rajon Rondo's foot, twisting his ankle. Crowder proceeded to hop on one leg to the locker room, where he was diagnosed with a sprained ankle, likely keeping him on the sidelines for at least a week. The Celtics next stop will be against the defending champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although it was already a tough matchup, it will be even tougher without Al Horford (concussion) and Jae Crowder (ankle).
